“My mission is to encourage women to act now to protect their bones – the foundation to their health, beauty and vitality. I want to encourage women that aging is a beautiful process if you take care of yourself and your spirit.” - Florence Henderson |

Florence Henderson, “America's favorite TV mom,” joined forces with Speaking of Women's Health as National Honorary Chair in 2001. In her role as National Honorary Chair, Florence works with Speaking of Women's Health to further the mission to educate women to make informed decisions about their health, well-being and personal safety, in turn ‘saving lives through education.’ Florence Henderson can be seen on Lifetime’s Speaking of Women's Health, a talk magazine show on Lifetime’s Real Women network. The show airs every weekday morning from 9-10 a.m. EST. She also attends the National Conference.“Speaking of Women's Health provides women with essential information on caring for themselves and their bodies as they age,” says Florence. “That, along with their efforts to educate women about the dangers of osteoporosis – a disease that I was diagnosed with several years ago – led me to hook up with the organization.” |
