He now serves as the Director of Interventional Radiology & Center of Minimally Invasive Women’s Services Atlanta Interventional Institute in Atlanta.
He has been named as one of Atlanta's Top Docs by Atlanta magazine.
He is a nationally recognized fibroid expert and has lectured on Uterine Fibroid Embolization nationwide including Harvard, Stanford, Vanderbilt, and Morehouse Medical Centers. Dr. Lipman helped develop the UFE procedure and has one of the largest experience in uterine fibroid embolization (UFE) in the country.
He is a medical contributor for: "It’s A Sistah Thing: A Guide to Understanding and Dealing with Fibroids for Black Women." He is also a speaker at Universal Sisters conferences in Atlanta since 2004.
Current Academic Appointment: Adjunct Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology, Morehouse School of Medicine.
He has appeared live on CNN with Wolf Blitzer and interviewed for USA Today, The Wall Street Journal, CNBC, The Health Network, Family Circle, and WebMD.
