Bryant Stamford, PhD

Health and fitness expert, columnist and radio personality Bryant Stamford leads Hanover College's exercise science program.

Dr. Stamford served as a professor of exercise physiology at the University of Louisville, director of the Health Promotion Center, and chair of the Department of Health and Sport Sciences. He has taught undergraduate and graduate courses in exercise science, nutrition, and health promotion since 1973. Dr. Stamford has written four books: "Exercise Without Agony," "The Weight Loss Reader," "The Jack Sprat Low-Fat Diet," and "Fitness Without Exercise."
